Genevieve Thiers

Genevieve Thiers

Actress. Singer. Playwright. Speaker.

Genevieve Thiers is a Chicago-based singer, actress, playwright, and speaker—an electric crossover artist at home in opera, musical theater, and the camera’s close-up.

She’s brought principal roles to stages including Lyric Opera of Chicago (Praskovia in The Merry Widow), Goodman Theatre (Dinah in Trouble in Tahiti), and Porchlight Music Theatre (Little Me, Follies), with additional work across Chicago’s theater scene.

A Northwestern University Bienen School of Music alum with a master’s in performance, Genevieve pairs classical technique with fearless storytelling—whether she’s singing live, inhabiting a character, or stepping on set.
