Genevieve Thiers is also a playwright, director, and librettist, creating new work at the intersection of women, power, and tech. She’s directed readings with the American Music Theatre Project and has worked as an intern observer with Porchlight Music Theatre.

Her plays include Backwards and Heels and Jubil-8, and she’s currently developing multiple musical projects—including the Urban Alternative Christmas Songbook—alongside other original stage work.

Genevieve also serves on the Board of the Goodman Theatre and supports the New Works Committee, championing bold storytelling and the artists building what’s next.
